The DTSOI Cross Country team did an amazing job representing the #Phoenixfam at the State meet in Hot Springs yesterday. The team finished in 8th place and Senior Pedro Morales finished 11th overall! Great job Phoenixes! We are proud of our runners and appreciate all the hard work from our coaches Gabe Gonzalez, Dasun Keylor, April Jenkins, and Bryant Davis!
We love celebrating with our #Phoenixfam! DTSOI 6th - 8th grade students celebrated the end of first quarter with a Fall Festival last week sponsored by POM, a student organization led by Teachers Sara Lee, Sarah Skelton and Lauren Simco. Students enjoyed a bounce house obstacle course, games, food, face painting and music!
Teachers Sahara White and Kerri Packwood took a group of DTSOI students to visit Willow Creek Women's Hospital last week. They got to see and try out the new surgical robot at the hospital. They even got to name it! The group chose the name DaWillowVinki GAAL aka "Willow", and were asked to present the name at the Chamber Of Commerce event. We are proud of you #Phoenixfam! What a cool experience!!

The DTSOI Wind Symphony went on the road to share some #PhoenixFam musical fun with more of our #SpringdaleFamily! Students and staff of Harp Elementary and Turnbow Elementary were given their very own concerts after learning a little about each instrument.

Monday mornings have us wanting a little flashback Friday fun, #PhoenixFam. The week of celebration ended with a festive Woohoo Cart tour featuring homemade hand pies with cinnamon apple compote and flaky butter crust created by our culinary students thanks to leftover apples.
