#PhoenixFam student, Aaron Rodriguez, recently traveled to Spain to participate in the Mediterranean International Cup tournament, otherwise known as the MIC cup. This prestigious soccer tournament happens every year and only the best youth teams and players from across the world get to attend. Aaron was scouted at a showcase his club team attended and, after passing 2 levels of scouting, received an invitation!

#PhoenixFam, NHS is hosting a Grandparents Games Night! Bring your Grandparents for an evening of good fun and board games on April 20 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.


#PhoenixFam, THANK YOU for contributing to our dress wear drive! Our students will be dressed to impress at the dance tonight thanks to your kindness.


#PhoenixFam, the Wind Symphony competed at the Arkansas State Concert Band Contest and earned all first division, Superior ratings. Of the three judges, two ranked them #1 in 5A. The overall rank was #2, only missing first by 0.048. They were also selected as the Reserve Honor Band from class 5A.



DTSOI’s Chamber Choir performed at State Assessment and earned all Superior ratings from all judges, #PhoenixFam! Before leaving town they performed for a local elementary school’s choir students, and then the elementary kids asked to perform a song for them!









Ten #PhoenixFam students were accepted to Arkansas Governor's School in seven different areas and will join 400 students from across the state that were chosen to participate in the four week, highly selective Gifted and Talented Program.

Talk about a DREAM TEAM! We're so fortunate to have the best assistant principals around. These are the busiest, hardest working people you can find, and we are so grateful to have them in the #PhoenixFam.


Math teachers in zone 320 celebrated their students' accomplishments in behavior, perseverance, going above and beyond, and being a committed math learner! One student from each class was chosen to celebrate for the month of March! Way to go, #PhoenixFam!

#PhoenixFam students, Jackson Wallace, Daniel Paxton and Eli Wetzel, will represent DTSOI as one of 17 student teams advancing to the Seventh Annual All-State Coding Competition! They earned the spot after competing against 160 teams in the All-Region Coding Competition.
