We desperately need your help! Even though all students are being allowed to eat for free again this year, we still need families to complete the free and reduced meal form. Here’s why: Our district must have at least 70% of our students qualify for free and reduced meals by October 1, 2021, or we will lose up to $8 million dollars in funding next year. This $8 million dollars are the funds used to provide nurses, social workers, and school resource officers for each school. Right now, we are only at 66%. Just a Reminder: Student Led Conferences (SLC) will begin tomorrow, Tuesday, September 21st from 4:15 to 7:15 and will continue on Wednesday, September 22nd at the same times. Please make sure that you have scheduled your SLC with your student's Advisory teacher. Also, please try to arrive a few minutes early prior to your scheduled time if you are in person and/or virtually. Wrangler Families: Just a reminder that if you are interested in purchasing the SDPP Chromebook Insurance for your student that you need to make that $20 payment by Friday, October 1st! We've already had a couple of screens broken this year. The cost of a screen replacement without the SDPP is $60. If your student breaks their screen twice with the SDPP insurance, it is still cheaper than paying the full $60 cost for a replacement without the SDPP. The SDPP also covers lost or broken chargers, which frequently go missing throughout the year. Don't miss out of this huge money saving opportunity! You'll be glad you took advantage of it in the long run!
